Youth Ambassadors 2023 Caribbean Exchange Program Kicks off with a Tour of DC
Today really allowed me to appreciate the human connection, both in the museum and at the White House. Overall, the program has really helped me come out of my shell and be open to new experiences and new people; even if I’m scared at first I’ve learnt to give my effort anyways. (And it’s also helped me to get my exercise in!!) Throughout my time at DC, I’ve experienced both good and bad culture shock, met so many new people, saw so many new things. And I look forward to that continuing in Virginia.
