CIED Welcomes University of Navarra Students for Seminar on U.S. Politics and Public Policy

Georgetown University recently welcomed students from the University of Navarra for a one-week seminar, Politics and Governance in the United States.

Held in Washington, DC, the program introduced participants to key issues shaping American politics and public policy through discussions with Georgetown faculty and policy experts. Topics included healthcare, civil rights, media and polarization, transatlantic relations, and foreign and security policy.

Students also visited the Inter-American Development Bank and the U.S. Department of State, gaining firsthand insight into institutions that play important roles in international development and diplomacy.

CIED extends its thanks to the faculty, guest speakers, partners, and students whose engagement made the program a success. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the University of Navarra and welcoming future cohorts to Georgetown.
