Juergen Graner

Juergen is a global expert on the management and implementation of strategic transactions (alliances, licensing, spin-offs, acquisitions and divestments). His primary focus is on building companies for a successful sustainable exit (Build-to-Sell), which entails securing the continuation of a business after its sale to a third party.

Juergen has more than 35 years of experience managing companies, departments and projects in and across Europe, North America and Asia. He has successfully completed expansions, turnarounds, acquisitions and exits of companies, as CEO, executive manager and advisor. Juergen is founder and CEO of Globalator with offices in Austria, the UK and the USA.

Juergen held CEO positions at companies in six countries on three continents (Austria, Belgium, France, South Korea, the UK and the USA). He has coached over 100 CEOs and taught business executives as well as scientists regarding business expansion for over 25 years in various executive education programs globally. His courses and workshops have a reputation for their easy translation into business practice. Juergen’s current area of interest in his executive classes, lectures and publications is focused on building value through strategic transactions (Transaction Based Growth ManagementTM).

Juergen holds an MBA from London Business School and has been trained through the Discussion Leadership Program at Harvard Business School (HBS) for teaching with the HBS Case Method.
