Resources & Services
Every Gateway to Georgetown program is tailored specifically to the partner organization’s needs, both academically and logistically. CIED can provide any level of logistical support required to ensure your program’s success. We can arrange for participant housing, including on-campus stays at Georgetown University during the summer months, as well as a student meal plan, local transportation, cultural activities, and field experiences such as site visits and briefings that offer participants opportunities for hands-on experience and professional networking.
While the majority of programs take place on the Georgetown University campus, CIED also partners with institutions around the Unites States where additional training can take place. For example, a program in public administration could focus on the federal government in Washington, D.C., and also include trainings related to local government at a CIED partner university in Wisconsin or California.
