Professor Sue Roeglin came to Georgetown in 1994 after lecturing in Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, and Group Communication at George Mason University and Catholic University. As a faculty member in the Department of Performing Arts, she became an Assistant Visiting Professor in 2006 and has served as Director of Public Speaking since 2012. In recent years she conducted several communication workshops for The Georgetown Organization for Leadership Development and served as a mentor for Georgetown’s Annual TEDX Talks. Since 2014 she has presented workshops for The Middle East Initiative Student Leaders Program as well as conducting several workshops for students from France and Spain. Her present class schedule offers two basic Public Speaking classes and a course on Persuasion and Advocacy.
