Georgetown CIED organized and implemented the MEPI Student Leaders alumni professional development conference for the 2015 cohort in Istanbul, Turkey March 9-12, 2016. Ninety-two students who completed their six-week leadership program in the summer of 2105 participated in the conference.
Khaled Ghanayem, an alumnus of the MEPI Student Leaders Program, is leading the effort to help people with disabilities in Israel and across the world. He and his team developed a revolutionary technology that helps smartphone users with mobility impairments gain better control of their devices.
CIED is looking for accomplished young U.S. leaders (aged 24-30) who can passionately share their civic engagement expertise and real life leadership experiences with young Arab leaders at the MEPI Student Leaders Alumni Conference in Istanbul, Turkey – March 6-13, 2016.
CIED organized and implemented the MEPI Program’s annual Alumni Student Leaders Professional Development Conference which took place in Rabat, Morocco from March 7-9. 80 student participants and 25 university staff and presenters attended the three-day conference.
