Patty Buchek

Patty Buchek is a senior assistant dean with Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, and has facilitated career transitions for MBAs at all levels, worldwide. Her work authoring career courseware and coaching business leaders through career development, is supported by decades of experience in talent search and human resource management. Often invited as a guest lecturer to discuss best practices in career development with global audiences, Patty loves individual coaching conversations just as much.

Patty’s forte is in career communications and how best to bring candidate assets to the talent market across media. She is particularly skilled at chiseling out and building up the strongest story line, then setting the strategy for career change, whether that involves internal or external candidacy.

Patty is a Certified Career Management Coach and Certified Personal Brand Strategist. She earned an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Honors Philosophy and Politics from Catholic University.
